Bed Quilt Co. reacts to Sleep-Hunger Relationship

Maybe you have heard before that a person’s appetite may somehow be affected by the amount of sleep he or she gets. However for Bed Quilt, an online mattress company, the need for more facts and relationships associated with the claim should be presented.

The said research was published in the journal Sleep where the findings suggested that shortened sleep increases hunger in men and decreases the feeling of fullness in women. But the problem here is that the study could not find a direct “cause and effect” relationship between the two factors.

A representative of Bed Quilt, Justin Maas, bared that some good tricks are to keep your sleep schedule consistent and avoid eating before you go to sleep. And this included potentially using the appropriate mattress to sleep better.
